Material description: ESHALAC 50S is a penetrating (penetrative) bituminous varnish/primer used mainly as a primer for concrete surfaces prior to the application of bituminous waterproofing membranes. It penetrates deeply and adheres to the pores of the surface of the building element. When most of its solvents have been removed, it forms a single, hard, protective and corrosion-resistant film.

Use of the material: Used as a primer for bonding bituminous membranes, for waterproofing and protecting external concrete surfaces and for corrosion protection of metal surfaces.

Consumption: It is recommended to apply it at least two coats.
For concrete skin surfaces the consumption ranges from 0,2 to 0,4 kg/m2 per coat.
For metallic surfaces, consumption ranges from 0,1 to 0,2 kg/m2 per coat.
